Individual Tuition and Mentoring

Learn at your own pace with personalised tuition, whether it be one session or multiple sessions to grow your skills in your particular area of interest.

Mentoring packages are well suited to those wanting to work towards specific photographic goals over an extended length of time building on expertise and skills. The sessions are spread regularly over an agreed duration (usually between 3 to 12 months) giving you increased one to one contact time with Denise Baynham. A program for your mentoring will be devised with Denise in the initial stages for reaching your goals and will become a working document that can be referred to and adjusted throughout the mentoring programme of sessions.

Photographic tasks will be given to mentees to work on between sessions to aid progress on your photographic journey. Contact hours can be divided between Denise’s studio at 1B Francis Street, Grey Lynn, and off site.

In person tuition requires payment in full, while mentoring packages require a 50% payment of the full package on receipt of invoice prior to commencing the mentoring sessions, with the remaining 50% invoiced half way through the total agreed hours.  

One-on-One Tuition

Dedicated tuition tailored to your photographic needs will fast-track your learning. Whether you wish to have individual tuition to work on your own photographic interests, or have reached a certain level and want to fill in the gaps , this is the course for you.

In-person tuition costs:

$375 - Half-day (3 hours)

$550 - Full-day (5 hours)

$650 - 2 x 3 hour sessions

Mentoring packages:

$1075 – 10 hours

$1575 – 15 hours 

$2075 – 20 hours   

$2850 – 30 hours
